Link of the day: What Can a Technologist Do About Climate Change?
On his homepage, Bret Victor points out a quite substantial and interesting numbers of ways in which tech-savvy people can help to fight climate change. Check it out, some of the thoughts are really interesting.
Here’s a post for those of you who have been following the blog for a while and also miss Funfact Friday:
Sea otters have developed several strategies which protect them from floating away from each other while they are sleeping.
Therefor they hold hands. Especially mother and child hold on to each other while sleeping to keep them from drifting apart.
As a further tool they use kelp. Sea otters wrap themselves in strands of kelp and use them as an anchor, so they don’t have to worry about being driven out into the open ocean.
