A lot of people have been blogging about GPT-3, a neural network capable of generating all sorts of text. Here is someone who finally let GPT-3 generate his entire blog. The story is titled “My GPT-3 Blog Got 26 Thousand Visitors in 2 Weeks” and is quite an entertaining read.

It’s fascinating to look back at these early GPT-3 experiments and see how much the landscape has shifted! The fact that an entirely AI-generated blog could pull in 26k visitors in just two weeks back in 2020 was a massive wake-up call for content creators. We’ve certainly come a long way from just generating text to building entire systems around these models. Nowadays, the focus has really moved towards how we can use these capabilities in more specialized and reliable ways. For example, I’ve been using the nano banana api for some recent projects to help manage the backend of AI-driven tools, and the efficiency compared to those early days is night and day. It really makes you wonder what the next big leap will be. Will we see more ‘autonomous’ bloggers, or will AI remain primarily a tool for human-in-the-loop systems? Thanks for sharing this trip down memory lane!
